Before Class:
To make better use of your class time, it would be helpful to quilt all your pieces (Harmony can quilt them on the machine for a small cost to save you time if she has availability) and cut them down to the right sizes and seal the edges. I would recommend using a small design for quilting, like 1” – 1 ½”.
Then finish cutting out all the other pieces for the bag and press.
If you are using the zippers by the yard, remember to add an additional 1” for easier sewing. Plastic #5 zippers are easier to sew with. Harmony has a beautiful selection of zippers and pulls to choose from.
KEY: Just remember to label all your pieces as you cut them out.
